Punch Card Games is looking for an experienced game developer! Join our team and help us push the limits of PC, console, and mobile game development, creating amazing experiences for players. What our Senior Game Engine Programmers do at Punch Card:

• Modify and improve engine level systems (graphics, physics, AI, audio, performance, etc.)
• Collaborate on large scale projects utilizing modern game engines (UE4, Unity, or proprietary)
• Push the performance, graphics and overall user experience of video games to their highest potential on PC, console, and mobile platforms  

We're looking for candidates with experience or interest in the above areas and who have proficiency in the following:

• Deep understanding of modern video game development APIs and languages (C++, Unreal Engine, Unity, Graphics APIS, Console SDKs, etc.)
• Multiplayer/single player game development
• Console development
• Addressing software bugs and crashes
• Software performance and optimization
• Contributing to code and content in a collaborative environment
• Back-end service implementation (multiplayer client-server architecture, third party API integration, etc.)

Requirements:

• 1+ shipped video game title or other equivalent work experience
• Bachelor's degree in a computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field. In the absence of a degree, 3 years of work experience with a proven track record of solid software development.

• Assisting in performance and memory optimizations for games on various platforms
